HISTORY of the Christmas Wreath

The wreath is one of the most popular decorations during the Christmas holiday season.  Wreaths have been used as a decorative sign of Christmas for hundreds of years.

The evergreen symbolizes growth & everlasting life.  The wreath is circular in shape which represents eternity, for it has no beginning and no end.  It represents an unending circle of life.

Meaning of the Christmas WREATH

The Christmas wreath has evolved into a sign of WELCOMING and an acknowledgment of HOLIDAY CHEER for the season that emphasizes generosity, giving & the gathering of loved ones.
